About the event
Anya is an abstract expressionist painter based in Sarasota, Floridaย and Liguria, Italy. Born in Ukraine, her life has been a vibrant journey through the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. These travels deeply influence her work, which captures the emotional essence of the landscapes she encounters โ from the serene shores of the French Riviera to the bold beauty of the Persian Gulf and the Ligurian coast.
Using layered fluid acrylics, inks, and natural pigments, Anya creates visual tapestries that speak to memory, place, and the pursuit of peace. Her creative process begins with a glimpse of a landscape in her mind's eye, but itโs her intuitive brushwork that guides the piece to completion:
